Home Alone

 

Home alone is family comedy film written and produced by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus in 1990 in America. The film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an eight-year-old boy who left behind when his family flies to Paris for their Christmas vacation. Kevin initially enjoy being home alone, but didn’t last long because he has to racing against two burglars played by Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci. The film also features Catherine O'Hara and John Heard as Kevin's parents. As of 2009, Home Alone was the highest-grossing comedy of all time.

The night before flight, the McCallister family gather. Kevin, their son (eight-year-old) feel tortured by his siblings and cousins. After fight with Buzz, his older brother, Kevin go to the third floor of the house and hope his family disappear. Electrical outage during the night reset the alarm clock cause they oversleep and rush to reach flight on time. They realize Kevin is left behind when already airborne. They not found flight fot the next two days.

Meanwhile, Kevin wake up to find the house empty and enjoy with his freedom. Until robbers come because realize Kevin is alone and make Kevin have to racing against them. On Christmas Day, Kevin is disappointed because his family is still gone. Then his mother come and after that flown directly from Paris to Chicago, but Kevin keep secret about encounter with Harry and Marv.

Good plot and implausible make we hard believe. Sometime this is shows genius of John Hughes written movie’s screenplay. Macaulay Culkin also very talented in many scene and has to carry almost the whole movie. But this film appartently not possible happen in fact because that over. So this film only as consolation.

Overall, this is good film, especially to consolation when holiday. This film can watch to all age. And contains some message to parents to them child.

Every day, there are always some people dead because of motorcycle accident. Mostly  people in that accident don’t use helmet while riding a motorcycle or bicycle. Thousands of deaths that occur each year from bicycling and motorcycle riding, more than 75% of fatalities and more than 85% of all bike-related injuries can be prevented if riders wear helmets.

Wearing a helmet can give many benefit for  the riders and decrease the negative aspects of riding. There are many benefit that we can get if we use the fitted helmet. Using helmet can save the rider’s life especially their physics, head or brain from serious brain injury that can happend because of not using helmet while cycling. Automatically, we also save our money when we used helmet because, we should not pay for the hospitalizing. .The right design of helmet ( shell, liner, and interior ) not only can save from injuries but also from bugs, rain, mud and other potential projectiles.

Wearing helmet also can increase our confident while riding or cycling. Because, using hlmet can give the raider a matter of style. By choosing the most appropriate helmet from all of the various styles, such as beanie, shorty, German, and many others, wearing a helmet which can projecting an image is an inherent crucial part of motorcycling and help riders feel more confident when riding on the road.

However, the most important is wearing helmet when riding is a matter of using it properly. Bikers should use the helmets which are fixed to their head. It is really no got if they places simply the helmets on the head without settling them properly. The biker should fasten the helmet correctly to their head in order to get safe and comfort.

Paradise Island’s Tragedy.

Bahamas, Nov. 10,1989- A plane crashed off in Paradise Island on Monday, killing hundreds people and two of four stewardesses, only five passengers, pilot, co-pilot and two of the stewardesses saved.

The twin-engine plane, operated by Chalk's Ocean Airways of Fort Lauderdale, had just taken off from a narrow channel used by cruise ships and was heading for California in the Paradise Island when it crashed, emergency officials said by evening, police and fire brigades had recovered all but one body.

The motive of this accident is still observed by the police and National Transportation Safety Board. Mark V. Rosenker, acting chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, said late Monday that the agency's investigation would begin when the wreckage was lifted from the water on Tuesday morning. Fifteen investigators had arrived in Paradise Island by Monday night, he said, and were preparing to pore over maintenance and other records and listen to the cockpit voice recorder from the 58-year-old plane.

Carl Frank, the saved passenger said hearing an explosion and seeing the smoke appeared from the part of the plane.Witnesses saw smoke boil from the Grumman G-73T Turbine Mallard plane as it fell from a dull gray sky around 2:40 p.m. Some also said that the smoke appeared to come from the left engine, and that part of the plane's left wing came off just before it smacked into the water.

Why Should We Choose the Accredited School?

Most of teenagers need to go to school and there are a lot of schools over there. Nowadays, schools grow to offer plenty of choice; private and state ones. However it is a hard choice since there are many factors which need to be considered before making the selection. Some will be influenced by friends; because some friend got to certain school than we go to there too. Some prefer to choose certain school because of the closer distance. In fact, the primary decisive matter for selecting school is whether the school has been accredited or not.

Why is important to choose an accredited school? Well, accredited schools have an edge over the unaccredited schools. This label of Accredited School has an impact in employment opportunities. As result, if there are two or more students with similar qualifications, the student who comes from the accredited school will have an edge over the other candidate. Student from an accredited school has more open door than student with an accredited one.

Many students select certain school depending more on short term factors like friend influence and short distance from home. It is not bad since commuting actually needs much cost. Choosing school which is closer to home will save time, energy and money. However if that school is not accredited, the time and money spent along studying seems to be waste in the long term because it could become a limiting factor in gaining future opportunities.

Accredited school is not the only factor which will drive student’s success. Personality and characterization are very important too. However a student with good personality who comes from an accredited school is better than the others.
